I don't pay attention to "burn" because it really doesn't matter. I do some Heavy Bag conditioning and I downloaded an app called "Shoutbox Workout Trainer" for my Android. Basically it calls out punch and kick combinations for you to throw and you can change the pace at which it calls out strikes to make it faster or slow depending on your conditioning level. I've been doing 3, 5-minute rounds with it and found that it's very good cardio. It's helped my reaction time a little as well. Just make sure to buy suitable gloves to hit the bag with. You could do it via shadowboxing, but it's more fun to hit something. :)

I don't know what fitness boxing is, but boxing is excellent for cardio endurance.

I had no weight training at all when I started, and my arms were little weaklings - I liked this video http://www.fitsugar.com/10-Minute-Arm-Workout-Video-22959099 mainly because it was quick and simple. A good starting point for me.

This 6 week workout is pretty good too..http://losing-every-extra-pound.tumblr.com/post/24482567752/sexy-arms-in-6-weeks-if-youre-just-starting-out
