So give me credit on thinking this one up. Basically what it says, and show pics of what u had for breakfast if u'd like. I will let someone else post first, since I'm about to head to bed. I'd love to see how this turned out! Oh and BTW, I was inspired by the supper thread.:bigsmile:

    I ate it before I saw this thread so no photo.....just got home from a week long stint at my folks, left the kids and hubby there and drove 7 hours to an empty fridge. So breakfast was only for me and only what I could gleam from outside...
    3 eggs from the chickens (thank goodness the neighbour kids who were caring for them hadn't swung by and taken the eggs)
    2 pattypan squash
    1 mostly ripe tomato
    Green onion
    Handful of strawberries.


    Kind of a hob nob meal but it was fresh and way more appealing then the stale cereal the kids left out lol

    Banana pancakes here!
    2 eggs blended with 1 ripe banana. Added 1 tbsp of self rising flour and topped with spray butter and a drizzle of honey.

    Sorry that I can't share photos on here. Last night I made fridge oats a little differently than usual, I normally do a bunch of fruit in it and less oats.

    I liked it, but my husband liked it a LOT. He added some dry cereal to his.

    4 oz plain Greek yogurt
    1/4 c oats
    1/8 c Stash chai tea, brewed extra strong
    1/4 tbsp. ground flaxseed meal
    sprinkle of cinnamon

    I added a tiny bit of sugar free maple-flavored syrup and 1 tbsp. chopped walnuts to mine before eating.

    I'm hoping I can mooch off of whatever my mom decides to make so.....no breakfast for me yet xD i'm hoping its an omelet though, if my plan fails ill have some oatmeal....

    I'm the strange one here.. I had a scrambled egg with mushrooms and peppers mixed in. Then topped WITH 1 T OLD WORLD SWEET CORN SALSA ... I am addicted to this stuff. It is 25 calories for 2 T. Has jalapeños in it for a slight kick.

    I do not think that is remotely weird. It sounds delicious!!

    I frequently have omelets for breakfast topped with salsa or green tomato relish. Delicious.

    my weekend breakfast usually is 2 egg whites and 1 whole egg, 2-3 strips of turkey bacon and then I choose if I want greek yogurt or toast...and then both water and coffee

    During the work week its mostly coffee....1-2 cups and maybe some fruit or yogurt.

    occasionally I have a smoothie-- 1/2 banana, 1 tbsp. peanut butter, 2 scoops soy meal replacement powder and 8-10 oz almond milk oh and of course ice cubes

    I am getting bored with oatmeal in the morning so today I had a Yoplait 100 calorie Greek Vanilla and a serving of Kelloggs Protein Cereal mixed together. It was Pretty good. On the weekends I have the Bananna/Egg Pancakes. I need more ideas that are less in carbs.

    Two eggs, on two pieces of "Little Big" bread (2 slices for the 'price' of 1) with avocado and home grown sprouts! Soo delicious. I think it's my new go-to!

    I'm following a low carb high fat diet and my breakfasts have lately stressed the HIGH FAT portion of that. I have a crustless quiche made with Heavy Cream, Milk, Sharp Cheddar Cheese, Bacon, Spicy Pork Sausage, Parmesan Cheese, and Butter. Only 3g of carbs and around 680 calories. Perfect for my diet.
  • I'm all about microwaving my eggs to save on time. So I nuke two eggs, 1/4 cup of shredded cheddar, and 2 tablespoons of jar salsa in a coffee mug for about 3 minutes. It's good and takes no time/saves a pan.

  • 2 cups spinach, 1/2 pear, 1/4 cup frozen raspberries, 1/2 cup fresh blue berries, celery, Tbs. ground chia seeds, a few ounces of water, and a touch of stevia. Blended with my Vita Mix. Breakfast to go in a Blender Ball Cup!
  • Cottage cheese with pepper. Yum.

    Note: Don't read this topic if you're hungry and LOVE breakfast :)

    I had my usual weekday breakfast while running off to sit in traffic - 2 hardboiled eggs. Some kind of fruit and lots of water. On the weekends, it's usually brunch and I have my indulgences then. Homemade biscuit and gravy. Egg burritos. Banana/Blueberry pancakes. Omelets. Or even the occasional going out and I'm pretty good for the most part.

    2 chicken sausages or 2 hard-boiled eggs (depending on lifting or cardio day)

    Always: 1/2 cup greek yogurt, 1/2 tblspn of honey, 1/2 serving of pistachios

    coffee with 1/2 tblspn of coconut oil or green tea (depending on lifting or cardio day)

    Usually runs about 30-40 grams of protein/350-450 calories
  • 4 slices of bacon chopped up pan fried....remove from grease, wipe out pan. Replace bacon and finish off adding garlic, onion and some chopped fresh spinach. Sweat them out and add 2 whipped eggs with pepper added. Toss shredded cheddar on half of eggs fold over, turn off stove and cover pan. By the time you get sriracha (or ketchup) from fridge and put on your plate it is done and ready to be plated. :drinker:
