    My three girls are all grown up now. It's rare that they are all together at the same time. It's usually at a BBQ at my home.

    I'm usually manning the BBQ and fetching drinks. To add to that that I am socially inept.

    So they all gather together and gossip, chat, reminisce, etc..

    As I man the BBQ, I just quietly watch them interact. Every so often, on or the other of them, or my wife, will look my way and smile, or wink. Come over and give me a hug.

    That makes me smile.

    The start of football season.

    I was at church one day and one of the guys there tried to strike up a somewhat serious/deep conversation with me. He told me that he loved the Spring time because we transition from a time of dead/dormant vegetation to them coming to life and blooming and it's very beautiful. I told him that I liked the fall because we transitioned from a time of no football to a time of football. He didn't really engage an any serious convos with me anymore.

    Oh and I smile every time i watch my son play baseball.
