  • pretty much every day i have a smoothie for breakfast. I usually make it out of dark coloured berries because they are low fat and calorie and they are antioxidant rich(keeps you young!). I just used 2 cups of frozed berries, half a banana, one scoop of vega protein powder and whatever water i need for it to blend nicely.
  • greek yogurt (about a cup or so), some frozen berries of your choice (about a cup, or a half depending), a banana, and some rice or almond milk. thats my go to smoothie. i usually add flax seed to it as well but some people arent in to seeds so its really just optional. tastes like a milkshake but is healthy for you. you can also use juice instead of rice or almond milk but it tastes less like a milkshake then and thats my favorite part XD (if you cant tell i'm a sugar addict lol)

    happy blending!

1 C frozen fruit (any kind)
1 C liquid (juice, milk, etc)
1 C fat-free Greek yogurt (vanilla flavored, or plain with 1/2 t honey and 1/4 t vanilla extract)

Add ingredients to a blender with 2 C crushed ice

Sometimes I'll use sherbet (fat-free) instead of the yogurt, but it's higher in calories/sugar. The Greek yogurt is a better bet because it's very high in protein, which keeps you feeling full for longer.

Just google smoothie web - lots of recipes. Try a few than get creative, can't go wrong with fruit, yogurt, milk, flaxseed for extra fiber. Enjoy!
