Snack Foods

What are your favorite snack foods? I have a hard time figuring out what I should buy for snacks. I absolutely love crackers.... but I know I should stay away from them.

What do you suggest?

You can eat whatever you want within your calorie goal.

I ate ice cream as my evening snack while in weight loss on. I just make sure a majority of my calories are nutrient dense. Them, fit whatever I want in ;)

    Other snacks I like:

Popcorn, wheat thins and hummus, salad, pickles, fruit

<.< I love ice cream... If you portion it correctly, it's not a terrible snack though and it has protein. Usually half a cup of ice cream is like 120-200 calories. Try popsicles or low fat ice cream treats.

Apples and peanut butter are tasty, and cheese cubes. They'll metabolize better than pure carb foods.

Why do you "know" you should stay away from crackers? Are you allergic to them? Gluten intolerant, perhaps?

No? Then eat the dang crackers. No food or food group is bad, just unhealthy portions of them.
