    I think I am weird because I haven't found one I don't like something in it.
    The Islamic prayer music use to make me cringe but after two tours in Iraq I got use to it.

    I thought I was going to pull my eyes out if I heard anymore Wiggles stuff but my son beat me down and now they aren't so bad.

    Thrash/Death Metal, Rap, Hip Hop and Country. my belief almost any singer/group has atleast one good song in them but these genre's don't do it for me usually.

    Other than Buddhist Temple Music, I can't think of anything I dislike all of... There are some genres I don't like in general but to say I like none of a particular genre is difficult to say... Buddhist Temple Music uses a unique vocal quality that is eerie at best -- definitely not my style... (I'm not Buddhist, I am a music teacher and this is one of the segments we cover in our Music Appreciation class)

    I've noticed as I've aged (49 now), my musical preferences have gotten more eclectic. With the exception of Dixieland Jazz (that stuff makes me cringe) I can't think of a genre I hate. There are genres I like more than others of course, but none that I hate.

    There are definitely genres that I don't much care for, but I can't say there are any that I absolutely hate. The closest I could think to burning hatred would be popular country from the 90s onward. 80s and back? Fine. Folk? Great. Bluegrass? Love it (I mean come on, it's jangly and fun, so it's really like electronic music... just... organic :P). But the modern, popular stuff? Mehhhhhhh.

    Agreed. Nickel Creek is one of my favorite bands. They are considered to be bluegrass/folk...beautiful music. Maybe you're thinking of a different genre.
