Your waist - how many inches?

While it is human nature to want to know where you "rank", to be honest, should we really care what anyone else's waist size is? It's great to be motivated by someone else's success, but comparing yourself to others is always a losing proposition. There is always going to be someone thinner, more muscular/stronger, prettier/more handsome, smarter, wealthier, funnier, more talented, bigger boobs/package, etc.
I think it is important to focus on being your best self, run your own race, and forget about everyone else.0 -
5'0, 120lbs, and 27 inch waist.
(I don't have a measurement from my heaviest, 147lbs, but I was at 29.5 inches at 135lbs.)0 -
5' 4" / 136 lbs / 31" waist
My fat seems to go in the middle because I'm not that much overweight (a calculator said I'm 4 lbs overweight for my height and frame size) and yet I have a big waist measurement.0 -
35 yrs old
5 ft 2.5inches (that half an inch is important!)
125lbs
26" waist
I carry most my weight on my bum and thighs....I cannot shift it!0 -

134 lbs
31" waist
Since my hips are only 34", it appears I have no waist. :-/0 -
I'm 6'2", 369# and I can't find my waist. Last I tried to measure it the measuring tape wasn't big enough . Admittedly that was a year ago - I'll eventually get up the courage to measure myself again. But it's VERY depressing when a 5' measuring tape is too small.
When I was really healthy I had a 32" waist. But that was a long long time ago.
Go to Walmart in the sewing and quilting aisle. They have an 8 foot tape measure for quilters. I got mine there!0 -

No. No. No. You miss the point. First, I don't exactly want to know. And second, I look forward to the NSV: able-to-measure-waist. But thanks for the suggestion. If I get up enough courage to find out I might just get the larger measuring tape.0 -
I'm pretty clearly an outlier here, but:
5'5"
27.75" waist
(36" chest, 37.5" hips)
180 lbs
These are the most interesting measurements/weight I've seen. Where do you carry most of your weight? Your chest is not that big and your hips are much smaller than mine and I'm 154 now. I'm just asking because my measurements are 32", 28", 42" which are super rare as well.0 -

The last time I measured my waist was over a year and 20/25lbs ago, it was 26 inches then. Will have to get a tape measure soon.0
