    guitarJerry, you know when you start any exercise it is much more difficult than after you have done it a while. Call it muscle memory or learning how to move, I bet you could improve in Pilates much faster than an individual who is not as fit.

    goals for the end of end of august:

    run 5k
    get to body weight squat and deadlift
    get to 135 bench (to put the big plates on!! :love: )


    some longer term goals are to run some spartans, enter into powerlifting comps next year once i've made goal weight and cleaning my body weight

    Unassisted chin up and pull up. And just because i never could do one when i was a chunky kid in dance class, a straddle split.

    My shorter term goal is to get my 5k speed down to around 30 minutes. I just finished c25k and I'm still pretty slow.

    My long term goal is to compete in a triathalon.
