Starving after a work out

It has been about 2 years since I was busying my gut in the gym. Due to circumstances I had to quit and move but now it's time I want to start exercising. As I am two and a half stone heavier running isn't a great option so at the moment I've been walking 3 miles everyday which takes about 55 mins (and getting quicker every day). I don't like the gym. Not until I'm really into my fitness regime.
After my walk I am so hungry I could eat my own arm! Now I'm careful to not eat things that are bad but usually this walk is before my tea. So I have tea (tonight turkey and whole meal pasta) but I'm still ravenous. Tonight I had about 400 cals worth of cashews after tea. My intake was about 1300 so is a normal amount (for someone actively losing weight) I'm wondering if it's best to have a protein shake (and maybe a banana) straight after and delay my tea slightly.. I don't really want to be eating two teas. If I walk earlier in the day I'm starving for the rest of the day. I've tried to also fill up on water as I know that sometimes thirst and hunger can get confused.
Any thoughts?

Totally normal. one of the reasons I do not workout in the AM- I am FAMISHED ALL DAY.
Even if I eat my regular calories for the day- at the regular times- I'm still famished. Now I workout only in the AM- it fits my schedule AND- it makes sense for my body- so that's what I do.
It's extremely normal. Just be mindful that you aren't over eating b/c of it.0 -

ThanksI would like to eventually move my work out to the mornings and just have more protein rich meals.
I never had this when I wolfed out at the gym but I only worked out for 45 mins where this is an hours work out. And maybe as I'm larger it's burning more?0
