purchased my fitbit one after work on April 24, 2014. Since then I've averaged 13,087 steps a day. My high was this past Saturday with 26,215 my low was the next day (Sunday) with 8608 (sore from Saturday )
I could use the motivation ( ahem = competition even though it's not called that.)
All feel free to add me.

I make sure to get at least 10k per day. Some of that is running in place, some running errands, some walking on the treadmill or outside. Saturday we did a lot of 'yard sale walking' and ended the day over 20k for the first time in a while.
What I use to hold myself accountable: an app called Pact. (Its available on Androids & Iphones I think.) You commit to doing a certain # of healthy activities per week and pay if you don't meet your goal. It syncs w/ Fitbit, MapMyWalk, etc. For workouts, it counts to get 10k steps in a day. (There are other ways to get workout credit, but this is the main one I do.) So if I don't get my steps in, I get charged. When I make all my Pact commitments, I get a small portion of $ each week from those using the app who don't. Its not a ton, but I get $4-7 a week. And I haven't had to pay yet.0 -

Hi : ) I recently got my fitbit flex, I'll add you here. I don't really use fitbit's community thing. And yeah, I usually get 10k steps everyday(on working days) I think the most I've gotten is around 24k0

I have been using mine for quite a while...fluctuate up and down on steps but try hard for 10-15k a day //www.fitbit.com/user/25QP7L0

I have a flex, and when I have a day where I am under 10k steps, I turn on some music and dance! It works great and perks me up! Also a lot of the time I get into it and surpass the 10k steps!0

I usually get the 10,000 when I am not traveling (I travel fir my work).
When I am low is steps I just do elliptical machine and usually 45 minutes is enough to get to the goal.
Feel free to add me as friend, I too love both fitbit and mfp. Welcome back :-)0 -
Congratulations on getting back on track. I love my Fit Bit, but my personal goal is only at 3000 steps a day right now. (medical conditions that limit mobility) I think that is the great thing about setting out own goals---no matter what our numbers are we can still be supportive of each other.0

I like my fibit flex. However, it's NOT accurate. I drove a big rig this weekend with very little walking between the time I left and the time I got home 10 hours later and the thing logged 4.35 miles LOL.0

I'd like to be your FitBit friend! The link for me is https://www.fitbit.com/user/297MQH.
Anyone on this thread can add me if you'd like to. I average about 16,000 steps a day. But I get an hour for lunch at work, and I always go for a walk, and I have an elliptical exerciser at home, so it's not too hard for me to get a lot of steps.0 -
Feel free to add me here on MFP or fitbit: //www.fitbit.com/user/23KP4J. I have a Force. I didn't return it. I like it (once I put a new Road ID clasp on it). I get between 10,000 & 15,000 steps a day. But, this weekend, I've been goofing off. I think MFP and Fitbit are both great tools for helping maintain a healthy lifestyle.0

Hi, I just rejoined MFP today. Have had my fitbit for awhile and LOVE it. I try to get in my 10,000 but got behind for awhile (grandkids ball games lol) Getting back on track now. Forgot to put my fitbit back on this morning before work so went all day without it:sad: so I had to walk for a little over an hour to get my steps in. Please feel free to add me if you need friends anyone. I need some too:flowerforyou: https://www.fitbit.com/user/2RKNLD0

Hey everyone. I love my simple little fitbit, looking to connect with other fans out there. I just started MFP again after derailing my weight loss train. I am hoping that the two will keep me motivated this time. Oh and does anyone actually get 10,000 steps in every day??

It's incredible all these people get 20,000 steps a day, a barely average 6,000 & I'm exhausted. :ohwell:0
