Another Fitness Newb

Hello, all you wonderful people of MFP. I look forward to getting in shape with all of you.

No elegant place to put this: I'm 22 years old and male.

I'm military, so I have some basic level of fitness, but I've never actually taken any action to take control of my health. So I decided to get rid of my icky stomach flab! Initialy goal is to lose 15 pounds (145 - 130) by November 1, then I'll see where it goes from there. Probably going to want to gain muscle at some point, but first I'm going to take care of the fat.

I spent all my time growing up thinking "I love food too much to go on a diet. It's not worth it. I can't think if I'm hungry." But I found that once I committed to eating less, it wasn't actually that bad. At least, not for the first two days. :)

Anyway, anyone wanna be fitness buddies? Keep each other on track, talk about working out, share progress pics, etc?
