Hey guys. I'm new. I've lost about 50 pounds doing strictly Treadmill, 30 mins a day for between 3-5 (preferably 5 lol) days a week. I want to start adding strength training. My plan was to do cardio 5 days a week, and strength train on Mon., Wed., and Fri.. Do you guys think that's a good idea? Is it too much? Any opinions or help is MUCH APPRECIATED!!!! Thank you!!!!!

If you don't get many answers here try the Fitness board on MFP as there are some helpful people on there.0

I like to swap days. Do easy cardio on your strength days if you have to. Otherwise, focus on weights.
The other 3 days of the week, do cardio.
Make sure you take day 7 to rest.0 -
Sounds like a good plan! Weight training is so beneficial and can be so much fun.I also like to swap days. It keeps me from being bored.0
