Help with squeaky new Nordictrack elliptical.

Options
Three weeks ago we purchased an elliptical the Nordictrack 9.5. I love it and it was great for two weeks, this week the third week we have had it, it has developed a loud annoying squeak. It is only very new and put together and greased down properly. Not sure what to do? It is so loud it makes the workout very annoying, even with music playing.
Any suggestions on what to do?
Should I re grease all the parts or should I go back to the shop/manufacturer I got it? Seems such a short time to be having problems.
How often do you need to grease down an elliptical?
What maintenance do you do and how often?
Thank you for any help I can get.

My wife also has a NordicTrack elliptical. Hers is about 1 to 2 years old, but last month it too started making that really loud squeeking. I really think it needs to be oiled, but I'd probably have to take the dang thing apart and I really don't want to mess it up. The warranty on hers expired a few months ago otherwise I would call the manufacturer.

Last year something fell apart with the wheel part while it was under warranty. We called and they sent a guy out to fix it. It was all covered, which was nice.
If I were you, I would give them a call and see what they can do since it may still be under warranty.

From what I've gathered on the interweb, ellipticals (like treadmills) require regular maintenance to keep them working properly. It looks like we're supposed to be keeping them dust free and well lubed.

Just one more thing to add to my 'honey-do-list'! Uggh..

    Thanks for the response.
I think I will just call the manufacturer. That is good to hear that they are on top of maintenance.
I will give it an oil up tonight, just I case I didn't put enough when I put it together, then see if that works, then call them if that doesn't fix it.
I know, the whole taking it apart to oil some of the parts is going to be annoying. Good luck getting yours squeak free again.
