I'm almost 6'1". I currently weight about 190. I haven't quite figured out my goal weight. I say 160, but I think it is going to be more about how I look and feel after I get down to about 170.0

I'm 5 foot 10 inches and I feel real good at 170#. Any lower than that I feel self conscious.0

I'm 5' 11 1/2" and I weigh 250. I'm about 75 lbs overweight. Depending on bone size, average weight for a 6 foot tall woman is between 170-190. If you are big boned, you are probably about where you need to be.0

I'm 6'2" and weigh 250. My goal is 175. I wear a size 18 right now, and would love to be in a 12/100

I'm 5'9.0

I'm just shy 5'11.5 and currently 205. Hoping to get to 180.0

I am 5p9.5 and I am currently at 170... I don't feel good and look fit unless at 160 lbs.0

I'm just shy of 6ft and weigh 265lbs. My goal weight is 180lbs.0

Depends too on whether you have a large bone structure or not. I'm 5'10" and a good weight for me is 170. Really anything less than that and I start looking boney and anorexic. I'm larged boned and things just start sticking out everywhere. Plus realistically at my age, I think 170 is a good pick. For you at 6'1 maybe 175? Just depends on how you look in your clothes at that weight. I've also found that now that I'm older things have re-distrubuted themselves. So I actually look smaller at a higher weight now. My waist is what's so stubborn!

5'10" here and for me, it's not so much what I will weigh, but what size I want to be. I want to be a size 12. Now, what will I weigh at size 12, I don't know since I've never weighed below 250 pounds in all my adult life.0

I can relate with the woman who was 5'10" and 170. I'm 178 currently and my goal for now is 170. I was 160 at my lowest and it was tough to maintain as a "fit" person... meaning someone who enjoys working out and muscle definition (and having a normal life) . More than looking at the "weight" though, is to look at your body fat and even more so, how you FEEL. You want that to be in the 19% - 25% to feel the best you've ever felt Plus, you want to be in shape enough to climb a flight of stairs without being out of breath. So what it comes down to is Health and Fitness. Use the number as one goal but not your only measurement.0

I totally hear ya girl!!! I feel best at 170 too! Getting older has been an interesting discovery in how the body changes0

I am 6'01" and currently weigh 207. I have lost 10 pounds so far this month. My goal is to reach 160 by mid May. As an adult, I've been down to 145 pounds, but my bones were showing and I didn't look very healthy.0

5'11 here and currently weigh 218lbs. Wanting to get to 165lb0

-
I'm 5' 11.5" and I weigh about the same and I'm going for somewhere between 150-160..0
-
I'm 6'3", my goal weight is to be under 200, which would be a "healthy BMI" for me.0
-
WOW. Obviously and thankfully, we r not alone..LOL! 5'11" here, 178 lbs goal 150.0
-
I'm 5'9 and my goal weight is 155-160. I never shoot for a low weight per say just how thin and fit I actually am. I accepted a loooong time ago that I will never weigh 115 or even 125 for that matter.0
-
Wow!!! I am the largest by far. I am 5'11" and I weigh 345.4 lbs. I have been this tall since I was 15 and at this age i was 150 lbs (super skinny). I definitely don't want to be there again. I think 175 would be good for me, at least until I get there:ohwell:0

I'm 6'1 and 257 lbs..would love to be 180 for long term goal but 200 - 225 is more realistic for my present goal0
-
Wow! Its great to see so many tall women on MFP! I'm 5'11" with a small frame and wear a size 6. I've got some water weight issues going on right now or something (lol!) because I was 149 yesterday and 146 right now. My body is just adjusting to the Insanity workout I guess. Nonetheless, my goal weight is 140.0

Here goes...My first post...I am 6ft tall and today weigh 211. I started gaining alot of weight about 4.5 yrs ago when I met my fiance and had some medical issues as well as two bad car accidents and recently a broken tailbone. I feel like I have had major setback but have also used them as an esxcuse to people for not losing weight. When I met my husband to be i was between 150 - 160...I would like to get back there again. I am realy depressed about this weight since our wedding is just over a month away ...I keep wishing I looked like I did before..Everyone tells me I look fine and so on...But what else will they say..Hey you got fat....I cannot believe my weight at this point but I was up to 221 and have managed to lose a bit of weight.. So everyday now almost I get on my eliptical but I'm not losing much weight..When I started 10 days ago I was about 216 or so I'm not sure...What do I need to do to speed up my weight loss ?? Any suggestions ??0
