Does anyone have tips on avoiding/curbing/taking care of food cravings late at night?

Im just starting out but I am terrible for late night snacking, kids are in bed so only time I get peace! I put snacks in the freezer, it takes me so much longer to eat it that I find im not snacking as much. Seems to be working for me, ive lost just over 2lbs this week so far0

I find that a protein shake really helps. I use So Delicious unsweetened coconut milk (45 calories for 8 oz) and either Wegman's or Jay Robb's whey protein powder. Both are tasty, give you something sweet, and the protein fills you up.0

I drink a few cold bottles of water... I think it sort of satisfies the hand to mouth habit.0
