Does one get to choose one's District?
I'm in, but only if someone teaches me how to a) use a trident in battle, b) skin a tree rat, and c) look good wearing that uniform from the movie...0 -

Yes, you can choose your own district--once you've joined the group, head over, look at the different threads (there's one for each district) and decide which one you would like. Please declare your allegiance in the thread that I've posted a couple of times.
As for looking good in the Quarter Quell uni--the challenge will definitely help out! However with regards to using a trident, and skinning a tree rat...well, I would just say to choose your District wisely. :laugh:0 -

@adjoa84 - this is a challenge with both cardio and strength/resistance challenges, and we hope you will pop over to the group and check it out.
I do a set lifting program, as well, so needless to say, I do well on getting my "strength" minutes in (or did, rather, in the Hunger Games Challenge). Part of the fun is in that there is a teamwork component wherein the runners/swimmers/walkers/etc. can partner with the weight lifters/body weight trainers/yogis/cross trainers/etc. to help each other reach the minimums in each.

@mom2kgirls: this challenge is based on the book Catching Fire (are you familiar with it?) If you accept the invite to the group, there is a HUGE post in the "Rules..." thread that outlines everything. Below is a post from Jules, who is co-running this with me.
