Bunch of young pups here by their music choice. I like Black Dog, Ramble On, and Fool in the Rain by Led Zepplen
Just about anything by Queen, Iv'e Got the Power can't remember by who. And if I'm feeling country anything by Asleep at the Wheel will get me going. Miami Sound machine is also good for cardio workouts, but if it's weight training I'm doing I like hard rock and turn to Led Zepplen or maybe AC/AD, or Kid Rock.

I listen to a lot of Techno with really fast beats since I like to walk at a very brisk pace and I usually will match the beat of the music:

    Aphex Twin - Buttered Popcorn
    Aphex Twin - Imperial March
Infected Mushroom - any of their songs

Wait a minute - I'm only 26 and I had Paul Simon, Queen, and Van Morrison on my list.
That being said, I'm not your typical "young pup."

Pinks Greatest Hits So Far album has a lot of upbeat tunes : Raise Your Glass, Get the Party Started, etc, great for working out to. I also like anything off the Aerosmith Big Ones album and some Nirvana. 80's rock is always good too!

My power songs that I ALWAYS play when I need that extra cardio bump are:

Fire - Joe Budden & Busta Ryhmes
    Feedback - Janet Jackson
    Gotta Work - Amerie
    Pucker Up - Ciara
Universal Mind Control - Common & Pharrell
Can't Touch It - Sex & the City Soundtrack
    Motivation - T.I.
    #1 - Nelly
    Massive Attack - Nicki Minaj

For lifting, I listen to old school gangsta stuff like Tupac, Mobb Deep, Dr. Dre, G-Unit (just the old, 1st cd), Ludacris, etc.

...Just your typical white girl stuff. lmao.

For me, I have a mix CD of Caribbean Island Dance songs - Soca, calypso, etc. Being an island girl, it really revs me up!

When I workout I have to have some Hard rock to listen to. I need it to get me going. I hate working out and hearing some slow song when I'm running or doing weights.
