No energy...

I have been exhausted like crazy the past few days. I am eating a bit more food but I have no energy. So I do not know what to do. I feel like I'm going to fall asleep, like I can't even make it through my work day, even though I haven't been busy. I also quit Birth Control like 3 weeks ago and feel like my blood pressure has majorly dropped and I've been really dizzy. No I am not preggers, I know this for a fact.
I really do not know what to do though, because I am not even functional right now. Like I really do not know what is going on with me.

Since you just quit the BC pill, I would recommend getting some bloodwork. There could be a hormonal issue.

Check your macros and the balance of your meals. Make sure you're balancing your carbs/proteins and fats especially. If you snack too high in carbs, for example, you can crash. A lot of protein bars are very high in carbs - try to not have your carbs be more than 2 times the protein you're eating (for snacks anyway). Personally, once I started paying attention to that my energy levels balanced out. If you're on a carb diet, put some carbs back in, etc.... check your macros.

I would but I just looked up this supplement and it says it can lower blood sugar, and cause dizziness. Both of these I've been having problems with.

How long did it take for you to feel better? I'm wondering if maybe my body just needs to readjust or something?

I have the same problem with dizziness too! I have had low blood pressure since the age of 5 and now am 24... I don't feel like I have anymore dizziness than before while taking sam-e but I do have more energy!

Additionally Is your iron low? I had that problem which also contributed to this problem so I started using the purabsorb iron packets as well

With the Sam-e I saw results in exactly 3 days! I take 200mg a day and I use the whole foods brand

I felt kind of like this a couple of months ago. I went off the pill back in... April, I'd say, and up until mid-June I kept feeling nauseous off and on (which is so not helpful when you've just gone off birth control).

I spoke to my doctor about it and he told me that it can take up to a few months for the female body to get itself together and feeling like that isn't abnormal.

Mine subsided a while ago. But if you're worried, always talk to a doctor.

I'd also recommend the usual: having your thyroid, iron, ferritin and b12 tested. Never take any supplements with iron in them without first having bloodwork done. There is a disease called haemochromatosis (I have it) which presents itself just like anemia yet it's actually the opposite. Your body steals the iron from your blood (which is why you need to get a ferritin test as well, that's different from an iron test- and this is also why people with haemochromatosis can appear to be anemic when they're not) and deposits it around your organs. If you take iron supplements it can be quite dangerous.
