Well good morning, MFP!!!! I am just a touch short of two months, and haven't had an ounce of progress. And though it isn't ideal, it is definitely cool. I have some amazing people on here that keep me motivated, but you know what, I want MORE. More people who like the sarcasm, nerdiness, sportiness, and sheer awesomeness I have to offer. I have 192 pounds to lose, listen to any genre of music, love hockey, want to chase tornadoes, am obsessed with science and anything Old West, and live long enough to meet my grandchildren. Mainly, I am tired of being a longtime, card carrying member of the Fat Club, and want other rebels with a cause and mission to live healthy. Does my apparent disregard for being a fat human appeal to you? Then let's be friends! You may now continue with your day, and keep kicking *kitten*, Fitness Land!

What is your strategy for losing weight?
This year is the year of the challenges for me. I started out the year with not being able to run a mile to running a marathon on Memorial Day! Now I am doing the squats challenge (found on Pinterest) and playing in two pick-up leagues (soccer and softball) because I hate the gym. This winter I think I might try T25 or P90x or something.
I am sharing this with you because I went two years of just trying to go to the gym and logging calories...didn't work for me and it wasn't any fun! You have to do something fun in order for you to want to keep doing it!

I log daily. Been at it 6 months and down 20 lbs. My diary is open for the world. Tired of food controlling me - will be not be embarassed any more.
I work out 4-6 times per week - 2 with a trainer to keep me accountable and motivated
