Any help would be appreciated!! HRM CLUELESSNESS

Hello! I posted this before, but the 1 response I got did not help me....at all... haha
So I'm reaching out again now that I have been more active on the site :blushing:
Fingers crossed....here we go!!

I bought a HRM watch (crappy CVS brand) to try to get a better calorie count during my workouts rather than using MFP's estimates (which I heard were over-estimated..). I wasn't sure if I was figuring this out right....
On a typical day here is what I do-
Take my heart rate before workout begins- record it
then every minute/after a part of a circuit, I get a heart rate reading and record it.
Then a final reading at the end of the work out.
From there, I add them all together then divide by how many readings I got (getting the average)- then I plug it into this: http://www.calories-calculator.net/Calories_Burned_By_Heart_Rate.html and get how many calories I burned during that work out....
Does that make sense? Am I doing this right???
My HRM isn't advanced, so I cannot figure out how many calories I actually burn. I tried google-ing any sort of answer for this with no luck.
I feel like a complete idiot.
Someone please help me before I make a bigger fool out of myself than I already have.
....kind of embarrassing.... ha.

PS Feel free to add me as a friend!!! :)
