Day #1 of swimming

My laps again.....I haven't swam in about eight months and today I got my butt in the pool and swam 100 lengths in one hour...then I did some water aerobics for about 25 minutes....I burned over 900 calories...I love to swim!

  • I agree, swimming is a great way to exercise! The calorie burns are enormous! Yay! I've been swimming laps for several months, and it has helped me a lot. Congrats for getting back in the pool!

    I also swum for the first time in about 8 months yesterday, and it was fantastic! I'm thinking of getting a membership to my pool (which has an attached gym) :)

    I went for a swim too yesterday, and am in the middle of joining a gym that has a pool (albeit only 14m).
    Cannot beat getting wet!

    I'm registered for an open water race on sunday - my main goal is to finish the distance.

    Swimming more regularly is definitely what i should do.
