Ok I have a list of foods and measurements that I need to eat. In the book it says 150g of cooked lentils is permitted, however I have no idea how much that is in dry weight.

Can someone please tell me.

BTW 150g is a little over 5 oz.

If one cup of cooked lentils is around 200g then find a recipe that says how to make one cup of lentils. it should tell you how much dry stuff you need.

you'll have 50g left over or you can adjust the amount

Lentils: 1 cup dried lentils = 3 cups cooked. I got this from http://www.reluctantgourmet.com/conversion_tables.htm .

    The conversion of oz to g is 1oz = 28 g. there are 8oz in 1 cup
