Best band/artist no one seems to know about?

I could list dozens but want to suggest WHITE BUFFALO. The artist had a few songs on Sons of Anarchy and combines rock and folk with hard won wisdom lyrics and deep and reaching honesty

Are they ones that do the opening theme? I remember looking up whoever did the opening theme once and they were pretty awesome.
As far as a suggestion goes...
Buck 65
He's technically a rapper but he's combined so many different elements and genre's of music that it's incredibly hard to pin him down to one genre at this point. He has a sort of greatest hits style album but he basically took a bunch of songs from his previous more hip hop driven albums and reworked them into a country/folk theme and they are absolutely incredible. It's called This Right Here Is....Buck 65. So good. The album that followed was fantastic as well and pretty much in the same folky style.
Nobody (at least outside of certain areas of Canada) seems to know who he is but everyone I play him for loves him even if they hate rap music.0 -

I don't think I'd say nobody knows about him. The "O" album is gold in the US. He was pretty popular before he seemingly disappeared off the face of the earth into what I can only assume is an alternate dimension where incredible musicians waste their talent by doing absolutely nothing for 8 years.0 -
I had drinks with him at a bar/club called Warsaw here in Brooklyn when he toured his first album. No one knew who he was and II LOVED his music. (He had hair back then as I think he is shaven now.) Dude came out from backstage to use the only bathroom and I recognized him and offered to buy him a drink. Oddly enough, the next year he played Beacon Theater which seats thousands. I saw him with a place that holds a few hundreds. Ha.0

OK, I have to give a nod to the sassy and brilliant chanteuse Heather Christian and her band the Arbornauts. New Orleans sass meets ethereal beauty. Her voice and piano move mountains and her band can rock, stomp, play the blues or lull you into a quiet, gorgeous landscape. CHeck out her tune "Harvey" on YouTube or "North."0

100 Monkeys, Google them they are pretty awesome. They split up about a year ago sadly, but I saw them in concert 3 years ago, met them and got autographs :happy:0

Cross Canadian Ragweed and Cody Canada and the Departed.
They are a Texas dirt band out of New Braunfels Texas. Rocking country. A fun band.0 -
