I got a new bike!

It's a Specialized Dolce Elite road bike. It's fancy and I'll go fast! My husband made me buy it and I pouted and kicked and screamed but did it anyway and now I LOVE IT.

Nice - I've been considering getting a road bike. Just not sure I'm ready to shell out the bucks yet.

I ride a Trek Hybrid since a lot of the trails around here are dirt/crushed rock.

    Enjoy!

    Awesome!

When I decided to finally upgrade from my Marin Larkspur hybrid (that bought for commuting 6 years ago but been using primarily for triathlons for the past 4 years)...so that I could do the Ironman 70.3 next year...I looked at the Dolce. It is a great bike! I ultimately went for the Ruby Sport though, because I didn't want to outgrow it and have to upgrade again in 2-3 years.

Love your bike. Very cute color too. I think you should change your profile pic to your bike's to acknowledge it.

    Congrats and Have Fun.

I got a mountain bike last christmas and I told myself i was going to lose 50 pounds so that i could ride it without being self concious and its still hanging in the garage brand new. :( I hope MFP will help me change that soon!!
