Focus t25 and insanity DVDs

Hey. Looking for some feedback regarding these DVDs. Keep seeing the adverts and am thinking of giving it a go. Trouble is 1. I'm very unfit (worried it's too much for beginner) and 2 I'm unfit due to recovering from ankle tendon operation. I'm worried about hurting my ankle. I'm not really supposed to do any high impact sports now but wonder if I could still do majority of workouts. No point getting them if it's going to be too much.

Both workout dvd's you've mentioned are very high impact cardio- Insanity especially. T25 has a modifier, but still you'll have to do lots of Plyometrics, lunges, jumps. You mentioned that you have hurt your ankle- personally i wouldn't recommend you to do them at this point, because you might hurt yourself even more.

I've done both programs, in terms of which one is better for a beginner, i'll say do T25 first and then Insanity . But that's just my personal opinion.
    good luck

I would say that T25 takes all of the good things of Insanity and none of the bad things of Insanity, and crams it into about half the time of Insanity.

Agree. However, for same reason i prefer Insanity to T25- I found t25 to be quite boring :noway:

I just finished the 1st phase of T25 (alpha) and I loved it, I am very overweight and have trouble with my knees and found that the modifier was perfect for me, I lost 14 pounds and 15" overall in the 5 weeks :)
