Goodbye Summer Clothes. No really. Goodbye forever.

This morning I reminded myself to make a special effort to wear my summer whites (skirts, sundresses, etc.) in the next couple of weeks because they will soon be packed away after Labor Day. Putting them away always makes me a little sad because I know I won't wear them again until next summer. Then I realized: I will never wear these skirts and dresses again! By memorial day 2015, they will be laughably ill fitting. Here's to remembering all the good summers we spent together and here's to the May 2015 shopping trip when I replace you.

Toss the worn ones and give-away the good ones at the end of summer. That way you don't have that crutch to rely on - and you don't want to purchase new clothes in your current size!

I'm doing the same thing. I have been wearing the same 8 or 9 shirts all summer to get the most use out of them as possible. They are way big (about 20 inches of extra fabric)...but they work and next summer I can have a whole new wardrobe - another couple of sizes smaller.

Congrats on the loss so far and here's to the new wardrobe for summer '15!
