Truffled pecorino. Sheep's milk cheese laced with pieces of black truffles. Expensive as hell and worth every damn penny.
Why do you do this to me? I don't have any truffle cheese right now.0 -
I almost forgot about those port wine cheese balls. I only buy them when guests come over. Otherwise, I will eat the entire thing.0

I have never paired wine & cheese...didn't like wine until I started going to local/regional wineries for tastings, now I love it but still have not had that opportunity.
My favorite cheeses are sharp cheddar, smoked cheddar, and fresh mozzarella. Or any mozzarella, actually. I like most cheeses though.
A friend on here told me it was an acquired taste, so I decided to try drinking a glass every night to see if it would grow on me. The only way I could get it down was to take a sip, then nibble on some cheese after. That was my nightly ritual for a while, but I continued hating the taste of the wine, so I stopped.0 -
I LOVE CHEESE..
But I would have to say Feta or Vermont Cheddar would be my faves. I havent had the Vermont Cheddar in so long because I cannot find it anywhere anymore. :sad:0 -

I bet that is REAL good!0 -
I am a stinky cheese fiend. The smellier the better.
Il faux manger le fromage qui peu!
Qui a coupe le fromage?
Sadly, one of the few french phrases I still remember.
I concur with everyone... except for the guy with the black truffle cheese. I haven't tried that yet so he could just be trying to trick me into spending absurd amounts of money at Whole Foods.0 -
I love cheese, I can't choose but I really love Brie and Camembert0

I could honestly live happily without cheese, but goats cheese is quite nice.... sometimes.0

Depends on what I'm looking for but I recently began to appreciate Gjetost.

I am from Wisconsin so it is genetic that I like cheese. My favorites are any of the veined cheeses (blue, gorgonzola, stilton, etc) and long aged cheddar (at least 4 years). Our best cheeses stay in state and one of my favorite regional brands is Carr Valley.
Oh, and cheese curds. Gotta have that squeek!0 -

I was really craving cheese until those gnarly toe pictures appeared. Now I have lost my appetite.
I like any cheese without veins.. If my food is moldy and blue I want to throw it away.0 -

I need to do a cheese run to Brennan's. They have a 6 year aged cheddar that is outstanding. I love many of the local brands they get as well as their great selection of imports.0 -

I went to a baby shower a few weeks ago and they had a hunk of parmesan from Trader Joe's and it was A-MAZING. I couldn't stop eating it.0

currently I'm on a smoked gouda kick in which I eat with red seedless grapes, but my favorite is provolone! Sharp, mild, any will do!0

Brookfield one actually, although I used to go to the one in Madison when I lived on the west side.0 -

Sharp cheddar although I rarely allow it these days.0

I love my brie covered with balsamic, rosemary, and craisins, then baked until bubbly. Smear it on apple slices--YUM!!
I also started trying the Yancey Fancy cheeses at my local grocery store. Beware, their Buffalo cheese has way more of a kick than you'd think. http://www.yanceysfancy.com/flavored-cheeses0
