Best fitness purchase you've ever made?

A chlorine resistant swimsuit with decent bust support for my water aerobics class.
ETA: Fitbit flex is a close second0 -
An exercise peddler- I can't walk very far because of back surgeries x3 so I bought this and I try for 10,000 rpm per day. that amounts to over 1000. calories. Love ;it0
-
My exercise bike, I bought it from my neighbour for 10 bucks...
I also love my fitbit zip.0 -
At the time several years ago it was Garmin GPS watch. Before that I would plan out a few courses based on mileage and just run the same ones over and over again. It freed me up to explore and try whatever route I wanted. Of course now I have dropped that since GPS is built into the phones and I can just use Nike+.
Other than that, one of those pullup bars that clips into the doorway.0 -
My foam roller. I use it every single day.0
-
Heart rate monitor.
What she said^^0 -
My Flipbelt! Not only does it have a built in clip for my house key (no more squishing it into the side of my bra), it's also a perfect fit for my iPhone 5 in its case. I can't imagine how I survived running without it.
Second are my Nike 5.0 lightweight shoes.
Next on my list are bluetooth headphones0 -
I have a lot of equipment @ the home gym but I'd have to say my Bowflex adjustable dumbbells that I purchased 6 years ago. Why? Because it's really the first equipment I owned and it got me into lifting weights and where I'm at today.0
-
Kettle bells0
-
two kitchen scales that weigh in grams. No more guessing for me.
I know this isn't exactly for fitness but it does help me make sure I'm reaching my calorie goals to workout and maintain a good deficit. I'd hate to be under-estimating my calories burnt then eating back calories at the gym0 -
I can't choose only one, I have multiple favourites.
Food scale. Nike lifting gloves. Polar HRM. Jillian Michaels DVDs. Mint Chocolate whey. Tape measure/calipers.0 -
I've got a $30 credit on ebay that I want to use but I'm kind of stumped on what to use it on. Most people say a food scale or exercise shoes but I've already got those.
So, to get some ideas going, what is the BEST fitness related purchase you've made. Something that motivated you more, helped you get back in shape easier, whatever it was I wanna know!!
I think my Fitbit is my best purchase!0 -
1. Digital Kitchen Scale. It was $15.
2. My bicycle. $500+ but worth every penny.
3. Gym membership. Seriously. Helps me esp. in the winter or during inclement weather when I can't ride my bike or don't like to walk.0 -
A microfibre towel.
I don't drive and hauling a damp regular towel around with me from gym or pool to work across town and then from work to home on the other side of town was a pain the *kitten*. It really has made a huge improvement to have a teeny, light towel.0 -
Polar FT4
T25 DVDs
Proper workout clothes0 -
HEART RATE MONITOR! Mine was $60 but I'm sure you can get a cheaper one on Ebay!0
-
PiYo - Its the first program I've ever stuck to. I'm on week 7 and normally quit by week 2 or 3. It's my soulmate workout!!0
-
my Heart rate monitor.. definitely0
-
Polar FT4 heart rate monitor
Kettle bell0 -
I hate the fitbit flex! IMO, it's a total waste of 100. They are not accurate in recording steps, sleep, or anything else.
For $30 I'd find a kettle bell - I use my kettle bells more than anything (other than my feet).0 -
New Rules of Lifting (for women, in my case)
My whole outlook changed with that one book
^^ definitely changed my life!
besides food scale and NROLFW, I'd also list my heart rate monitor as the top 3 best fitness purchases. Just got a Fitbit One so excited to see how it helps as well!0 -
Hands down it would be my Fitbit Force. I have several other gadgets and weight loss tools, but if forced to give them all away and keep only one, ....it would be the fitbit.0
-
Kitchen scale, by far.0
-
Food scale
Polar FT4 HRM
Kettle bells0 -
My workout DVD- dance it off with vicky binns, shows results quickly0
-
My Polar FT40 (not the Ft4) HRM. It goes with me everywhere.0
-
My treadmill.. I don't have excuse not to walk...0
-
for only 30 bucks i would ave to say a foam roller. its a lifesaver after a tough workout and really speeds up recovery0
-
My treadmill. It was a really heavy duty treadmill that you find in gyms. They can take a beating and keep going.0
-
BodyMedia fit band. It takes all the guesswork out of how much I should eat, and is extremely motivating and informative.0
