I want my entire body checked from inside-out!

I've been at 323 Lbs for years.. I don't care what Pill, Diet or workout regimen I try, I MAY POSSIBLY lose 10lbs but gain it all back... I dropped about 53 lbs, 3yrs ago using phentermine, combined with exercise of course. But after my baby, I gained it all back... What's wrong with me? Since then I still work out 4x a week, work endlessly at home & a balanced diet.

Have you spoken with your GP or a dietitian? Have your GP check your thyroid as this can affect weight loss gain.

Otherwise, ask yourself after you lost that weight, did your eating habits change for the better or back to the old way? your workout habits improve?

Diets and pills only are temporary fixes. They may give you immediate weight loss but if the underlying issue hasnt been fixed that weight will come back just as easy. It isnt about just losing the weight it is about changing how you eat/exercise to maintain a healthy lifestyle

Every single time I tried a new diet I felt like this, did my best (or so I thought) but the numbers wouldn't go down. This lack of success will always caused depression and binge eating. My weight was and still is preventing from living my life the way I want to. Although I wanted this change for myself, it took the help of a good friend to get me going. She "introduced" me to exercising and eating more healthily which helped with lots of digestive problems I was having. This little improvement make me find more about what I was doing to my body and with some help from studies, books, and documentaries I have started changing some of my eating habits that weren't doing me any good. Now, I avoid or eat as little as possible refined carbs, most dairy products, and sugar. Before doing this, I ate (a lot) but was always hungry a few hours later. I felt like a rabid dog needing a bite of something, anything all the time. I was always eating but never nurturing my body. Things have changed now, I don't have that feeling of hunger at any hour (I eat because I want to or need to, not because my cells are starving for feeding them junk food). Ultimately, it is a matter of finding out what works for you. You don't mention much about your habits, so it's hard to understand what might be happening in depth. Getting help from a doctor is always a good idea, if you believe he can help you find the answers you need. Good luck!

  • I have checked your diary.
    - First of all, you should log every single day.
    - Second, you must be overestimating your calories burned from what I can see. And don't log every single step you take. Only the real hard burning workout. I kill myself in house cleaning daily but I never log it.
    - Third and extremely important: Only 600 cals a day? My minimum is 1500 / 1700, and sometimes I eat around 2000 cals a day and just don't eat back my exercise calories, and still losing. You're starving yourself. That's why you're gaining it back, because you're ruining your metabolism and making yourself sick.
    - Last thing: Lay off the cookies/biscuits etc. Eat healthy. I saw one of your days you haven't even touched food, only cookies. Have a huge protein/fiber breakfast, a good healthy lunch (vegetables / legumes / fish / lean unprocessed meat).

And forget the magic pills and diets. Only YOU can take control of your body by eating healthy, at the right portions (without starving yourself) and exercising.
