Exercise at home in addition to the gym?

I have always worked out in the gym and at home I rarely (if even at all) exercise. I go to the gym 4-5 days a week but should I add in some extra exercise at home in addition to the gym? I am thinking simple traditional exercises to kill time at home such as push ups, sit ups/crunches, squats... Is that fine to mix in or are gym workouts sufficient?

There is nothing wrong with working out at home, but working out 4-5 days a week is an acceptable amount. If you are happy with that amount then don't worry about it. If you want to workout more and aren't over training then go ahead and add in some workouts at home. If you want to do strength training google some body weight workout routines, or do some running or biking.0

There is nothing wrong with exercising at home! Usually when I skip the gym, I do a 20 min exercise at home. I turn on Pandora and do 10 min of lunges and squats in my backyard and 10 min of crunches and pushups! That works for me. Find out what works for you.0
