Rum and diet coke is the lowest calorie thing I can think of, about 70 calories a drink. If you just want to get drunk though, go with shots. They're between 60 and 100 depending on the proof. For mixed drinks, avoid anything fruity or blended. They're going to be all sugar. Also, generally darker liquors have higher calories than clear liquors.
If you're drinking beer, I'd suggest Corona Light. 99 calories per bottle and 4.5% alcohol, which is pretty high for light beer. They don't taste too bad either, as far as beer goes.

Words of caution from an old lady who has seen many drunk sorority girls barely able to walk home... :drinker: Know your limits, and be careful. Be sure to have a designated driver. Don't drink alcohol on an empty stomach (!!), and make sure you and your friends look out for each other.

Having fun does not involve puking all over your fancy shoes IMHO.
  • how about a brunch drink a Bellini? or mimosa? I cant really have a diet coke and vodka at 11 am lol that would be weird
  • Sprites are the way to go. If you're looking for alcohol in its lowest calorie form you'll have to consume it in its most basic form. That or mix it with club soda, otherwise diet sodas avoid the calories associated with the sugar.

The best breakfast drink is water!

Any hard liquor (rum, vodka, whiskey, etc., avoid things like "coconut" etc.) and diet soda will run you 100-200 cals per 2 oz.

The food you will consume while drunk will run you 2000-3000.

Go with clear liquor and diet soda.

I had a couple of drinks last night and opted for gin and slimline tonic. For a single measure (that's 25ml in the UK) MFP says 56 calories. Not bad! Obviously a double would be twice as much, but I'd rather have 2 drinks than 1!

I normally can't stand diet drinks (diet coke, lemonade etc. - I can just taste sweeteners) but the slimline tonic didn't bother me at all, probably because it's not really sweet in the first place.

Vodka with diet lemonade and a twist of lime is nice, very refreshing on a hot day and not too many calories

Depending on how its made, a mimosa will run you between 75-150 calories. You can request freshly squeezed orange juice, or no sugar added juices and the calories will be a little less. A rooftop bar ought to be able to accommodate that. A Bloody Mary is actually pretty light and has the benefit of at least some veggies.

See if they have Soju (a Korean liquor) its about half the calories of vodka, and is a bit smoother (seriously, the first time I had this as a soldier in Korea, it tasted like Hawaiian punch and just one knocked me on my butt...Apparently this is a time-honored tradition of "get the new guy"!) Any drink you would normally pour with vodka, see if they'll switch it up.

You can always ask the bartender to make your drinks "skinny" which means the sweetener of your choice instead of sugar, blending it with fruit, instead of just sweetened fruit juices and using diet mixers. It's a bit more work, but I've always been happy to accommodate a guest mixing drinks, just be sure to tip them a little better...there's going to be a little extra work involved, especially if they don't have Splenda or something else at their well and they have to go chase it down.

    Wodka - Martini

because it skips the lemonade / soda / juice part. :) If you like it (like me) it's a great drink :)
