Water Bottles when Jogging

I'm almost finished with couch to 5k, and I plan to start running outside as the weather cools down. Even though I'm not running long distances I like having water for my jog. I'm reaching out to see if anyone has specific water bottle brands that they like. I would love hands free options as well. Thanks!

If you want a hands free option then get a fuel belt with water canisters. I have this one.

I really like Amphipod handhelds for shorter runs (6-12) miles...they have lots of styles and features...
I use a Camelbak for longer runs....
I find the cannister belts distracting and annoying0 -
Camelbaks are awesome. Hubby and I used them for long hikes.0

I have a TNF belt pack with two 500ml bottles and a pouch for gels that I use on my longer runs >12km.
When I started C25K I was going through a lot of water but once my conditioning improved I've reached the stage where I don't need any for less than an hour/ 12km. I have a camelbak as well, but that's mainly used for cycling, I'd be more inclined towards the NAthan or Inov-8 race vests but at 5-10K that's OTT.0 -

My wife and I absolutely love our CamelBak Quick Grips.

We also have CamelBak Venture (for me) - I like it a lot and it's great for carrying a lot of water, just strap it on tight. I think I prefer it for riding bikes vs running, though.

We have the CamelBak Delaney (for my wife) - It stays put a whole lot better than the Venture with less effort.

I've got many of the CamelBak hydration packs (the backpacks) but I don't like them much for running. Great for Hiking long distances (3L of water and with the Mules you can carry snacks/first aid kits? Seriously? Freakin' win!!!!) or for super long bike rides where speed isn't your idea (Again, carry tons of water, spare tubes, snacks, first aid kits, etc).
The thing that I love about the Quick Grip, Venture, and Delaney is that the water bottle (CamelBak Insulated Podium Chill Bottle) works both for them AND our regular bike water bottle holders. The tops allow you to squirt water (a good stream of water, honestly) into your mouth vs having to suck on them.
The Quick Grip has had one amazing side effect for me, it's made me learn to run without my hands clenched into a fist. I had practiced other ways, but these really did it.0
