Intro from the new girl with old habits

Hi everyone,

I am not new to dieting or being a loyal tracker, but I have to make changes now, or I know I will suffer like some of my loved ones have with weight and lifestyle-related illness. I am definitely food-addicted and so I struggle with emotional eating and reward eating as well. I feel like a bonafied crackhead somedays when it comes to food. So shameful, so obviously hurting myself, yet still overeating garbage foods. I am introducing myself to gain some support and hopefully make a few friends and hold myself more accountable. It is better to be connected.

I am starting tracking now, before even shopping for healthy foods because I want to see the numbers on what I've been doing. I'm late twenties, just finishing up undergrad, and obviously a late bloomer. Sometimes late blooms are the prettiest though, we'll see.
