Is it bad?

I eat breakfast at 5PM, then dinner at 9PM, then I go 20 hours which will bring me to the next day 5PM to have my next meal and repeat. I've been doing this for weeks and I've lost 15 pounds but is this bad? I didn't realize I was going 20 hours without food but eating two meals is easy.

Lots of people do intermittent fasting and have success with it. So long as you're reaching your calorie goals then you ought to be ok.0

Nothing wrong with intermittent fasting, however, I think you need to make sure you get more calories, some days you are quite under your daily allowance.0

There are benefits and drawbacks to eating like this. One thing I will say is to be sure that you're getting enough calories in between these 2 meals. When you only eat a couple times/day, it's pretty easy to under-eat. Drastically under-eating is a sure way to repress your metabolism. As long as you are getting in enough calories (and nutrition in general) and you feel good, then it's probably okay. Pay attention to your body though. If you start to feel odd, tired, or hungry a lot, you may need to make a change.
