Hey.
I'm really hungry!
I've set my calories to 1500 for days when I work out.
but today I haven't worked out and max is 1200.
Thing is I'm close to the 1200 but I am now really hungry.
I have nothing in that's low calories. =\ I have bread...

Should I eat a slice of toast ><!?

Have you drank enough water today?

I say have a slice of toast and drink a couple glasses of water. Toast isn't that bad, especially if its whole grain bread.

I had posted earlier that I was struggling with hunger. I got some good ideas, munch on some fresh cut veggies--they are very low cal.

Drink water! I heard that one a number of times.

One of my own tricks is to drink something hot, so perhaps some decaf tea or coffee will do the trick? I find that water alone doesn't always work, but if it is hot, it seems to send a more fulfilling message to my brain.

If you go over by a few calories it won't make much of a difference. If you NEED to eat, have something small. Something like toast is good to fill your stomach, without too many calories. Drink a lot of water if you go too far over, it'll help! :)

Going over by about 100 would be okay right :S

of course it is OK. It just means you will have a slightly smaller deficit for today. 3500 calories = 1 lb, so 100 calories = 1/35th of a lb.

    have some toast.

If that's all you have, that's what you eat....no big deal.....a slice of bread is about 100 calories..depending on what kind it is...

You'll learn to shop for healthy snacks :-)..

No point going to bed hungry :-)
