    Every thread, every day gets bombarded with all this Indian spam - on the general weight loss thread there are 2 pages. What's it all about, why and how. I belong to other forums on big sites and have never seen anything like the problems MFP has. Why is it targeted. I just don't see the purpose - it doesn't seem to be selling anything … yours, confusedly ...

      I know it gets annoying. Just report it asap and hope the mods are paying attention and stop it.

      If they had a rule like you needed to maintain your diary for a week before being able to post on forums or something that might limit it...

      I've just given up. Seriously. I was on a crusade to stop the asshats, but they aren't going anywhere. I was humping the report button. I mean, as soon as they were posting, I was reporting, but it does no good. They just come back with new accounts. I want to pull mah hair out. That is all.

      Lots of people are active on day 1 but quit later so I doubt theyd do that

      They actually are selling something. Some voodoo/magic/hocus pocus stuff. They always list a phone number, so if MFP deletes any message containing that phone number automatically (without a warning, so that bots think they successfully posted) it may actually limit the Indian spam.
