Medical condition for fast weight gain and loss?

If I overeat, I can gain between 10 - 20 lbs. Like over my two-week Christmas break, I gained 20 lbs. If I eat less, I can lose 10 lbs instantly, and then consistently lose about 5 lbs each week. I know this because I lost 100 lbs last year and can easily gain/lose. It's very different from what others experience, as I have many friends who are doing weight loss and don't understand my rapid gains/losses. It isn't typical like if someone would eat a lot during a holiday and come out with a 3 lb gain or something. I was always jealous of people who said they gained 3 lbs during Christmas/New Years... that is nothing!

I can easily see someone gaining 10 lbs in two weeks of terrible eating i wouldnt chalk that up to a medical condition unless a doctor diagnosed one0

If you gain that quickly over short periods of time, you are eating massive calories over your maintenance calories. I suggest you speak with a professional.0
