Do your fingers get thinner when you lose weight?

At my heaviest, I had to wear my wedding ring on a necklace, as it wouldn't fit on my finger anymore. Now it fits a little loose on my finger.0

Mine have. Rings I used to wear on my ring finger are now loose on my middle finger. I had some funky cocktail ring type rings that I used to wear on my middle finger that I ended up giving away because if I gestured slightly they came flying off!0

I didn't have any change in fingers, but in my feet I did. My feet weren't as wide. It was cool. Someone told me after women have kids their feet get bigger and stay that way. My feet had gotten wider and I couldn't understand why I had to wear a size 7 shoes suddenly. The way I realized my feet got thinner was after i lost about 20 lbs, I put on a pair of brand new slippers which I bought after having kids, in my old size 6 1/2, which finally fit me. Only this time, they were loose!0

I've gotten rid of 19.8lbs total and I started noticing my ring falling off at around 10lbs. As someone mentioned in a previous comment, it was probably water weight. I think it's safe to say your fingers will go down.0

The first place I noticed weight loss was my fingers, wrists, ankles, and neck/chin.0

Yes. My wedding ring is extremely loose now (my joints haven't shrunk, 'tho, so it's in no danger of falling off the finger).0

Yes, toes to0

Mine did...0

Yep. Before i could not get my wedding ring past the finger nail. Now i have to wear a Ring Guard so it does not fall off.0

Fat comes off everything. Fingers. Ankles. Forearms. Butt. Everywhere.0

Mine are getting thinner. I'm now able to pick my nose up to the third knuckle!0

I've had my wedding rings sized down 3 sizes so far0
-
I've dropped a ring size, thank goodness.0

What "finger" are you really concerned with? :-)0

Mine did. I have had these two rings since I was in high school When I got them, I was unable to fit them. Two or three months ago, I was able to wear them. Now, they are too big.0

im so glad people mentioned feet getting smaller in this thread i though i was going mad...0

all my rings need to be resized and ive started buying new rings too..because i cant be without rings0

I lost my first 30 lbs out of my knee areas, ankles and hands. So yes, they do.0

I certainly hope so lol. I have stubby, chubby, man fingers ( no offense guys) and have a hard time finding rings that fit. I have noticed my shoe size go down (a size and a half) though like a lot of other people have mentioned.0

I'm only 9 days in and my wedding ring is definitely looser. My fingers had gotten a bit chubby, and I had a wedding ring 'muffin top' that's gone now...0
