    Good story.

In other news, with 15 lbs left to lose I hope that intake leaves you losing around .5-1lb a week loss. If that's truly all you have left to lose. Less weight to lose = less aggressive deficit. Also hunger cues aren't always the best to determine if it's healthy or not. Just some thoughts.

I need to lose more than 15 pounds. I need to lose 30.

Are you about 100lbs right now, female, sleep maybe 8-10 hours a day?

Then 1200 calories would seem about right, assuming you stand/walk maybe an hour a day and the rest is spent sitting and reclining. No exercise at all.

I need to lose more than 15 pounds. I need to lose 30.

I've lost 53 lbs eating around 1900 average (non net, net was close to 1650). I know everyone is different, so maybe it might not be that much but who knows, could be more? I'm 5'3.5" and 26 yo. I'm just trying to help you make this sustainable for forever, not just a quick goal. I thought I was fine at 1200 when I started too but I was losing weight too rapidly and started feeling awful after about a month or two. If I hadn't found the forums, I probably would've quit and relapsed to old habits.

    ETA :

This is the link that really changed me. And maybe 1200 with your current activity truly gives you .5-1lb loss. I don't know. But I will say that losing weight too quickly results in excess muscle loss rather than mostly fat loss and the end results aren't as good as taking things slower.

Seriously, 1200 calories is too low for most people. Those who have responded know what they're saying as they've all lost weight without low calorie dieting.
