My scale is stuck - literally

I had a suspicion that something was wrong with my scale because I weighed exactly the same, to the tenth of a pound, every day for almost a week. If I weighed myself later in the day or picked something up, it would show the extra weight. I borrowed a friend's scale and started using both. Hers showed a loss of close to 1.5 lb with small fluctuations for two more days, then mine went down to where they were within 4/10ths of a pound of each other. 2 weeks later and mine seems stuck again.
a) any way I can get the thing unstuck? It is only a few months old
b) sometimes when you are doing everything right and the scale shows no loss, it really IS the scale.

I would definitely take it back. I know its horrid and yes measurements are more important, but I live by that damn scale!0

Is it, by any chance, one of the Weight Watchers scales that also measures body fat? We bought one a few months ago and it does the same thing. I usually had to get on it holding something heavy so it registers a larger weight, get off and let it clear, and then get back on and weigh just me. I've quit using it and gone back to our old scale that measures in half pound increments.0

Try taking it back to the store that you bought it at, or maybe try changing the battery. I got a bad scale from bed bath and beyond before, it stopped working after a month. They replaced it for me.0

Too late. I bought it online back in January and the seller only takes returns for 90 days and no longer carries this model because it was discontinued (I wonder why). I guess I will have to shell out for a new one. I only paid about $25 for it so it isn't the end of the world.Try changing the battery
I did change the battery and it worked fine for a while, then stuck again. It is irritating because it only sticks going down, not up.0 -

I did that and was able to register my cat's weight gain from 10 months old until now that way (He is just under 12 lb and 15 months old now, BTW)0 -
I'm stuck at 100 kgs for the last six weeks. Though maintaining the weight, but I desperately want the scale to move.
Though I have lost 5 inches overall in these six weeks, but the scale just dosent moves lower, it either goes to 101 kgs and comes back to 100.
I am drinking 3 lts water everyday fr the last 10 days, it has helped me in digestion and better skin.
I'm 27 years, 5'6" tall, female.
Would appreciate help0
