My head is spinning

My daughter is allergic to eggs, milk, sesame seeds and peanuts. Though we don't know about other nuts, she tries to steer clear of them.

Does anyone know of a protein bar that is egg, dairy & nut free?.....I'm starting to think I may have to make something for her =/

    Hooooooo boy that's hard.

Have you tried just a simple Google search? Otherwise here is a good recipe for one:

Thanks for the link, I'll have a look.

Yes, the google search is what has me all turned around. When they're dairy free, they have egg whites, then nuts or nut powders or some such ingredient that is overtly something she will react to =/

I was hoping someone here might already have such an allergy that I could cut through some of the white noise I keep pulling up in searches for prepared bars :ohwell:

I was thinking I might have to make them for her but was hoping to find something ready-made so she can grab & go.

It may be easier to make something of your own that way you can cater to different tastes. I just did a quick search and I only found one site:

 cause she's 25 yrs old....and after a few months of learning compound lifts with her dad, brother & I, the kids (18 & 25) are starting 'strong lifts' ...and she doesn't always eat as well as she should, she's always on the run.

Any Protein bar that is Vegan will be dairy and egg free - thats a given - My bar of choice is PROBAR - Base (also sold as Core before it was renamed). The Cookie Dough, Mint Chocolate, and Chocolate Supergreens bar are all nut free. I have had EVERY flavor - and they are ALL amazing. http://theprobar.com/#1 Thats the link - enjoy =)

The bars do indicate that they are produced on equipment that processes milk, egg, tree nuts, peanuts, and sesame - BUT - they are not in the bar - so id say if her allergy is SO severe - then stay away - but the chances of small traces being in the bar just because its processed on the same equipment - prob very slim so, make your judgement call that way =) hope this was helpful

yes, thank you  Very helpful.

I'll look for vegan protein bars because she was issued an epi-pen & although I think it was more of a precaution than anything, if I can avoid bars processed on the same equipment, I will.

Thanks again, I never thought of searching for vegan bars, duh
