I have lost 10 lbs. since Feb. 2014 but my body fat percentage and BMI have not changed. Plus all my clothes and pants still fit the same. I am eating 1200-1250 cal. per day, 5'4", currently 147 lbs., 64 yrs old, female. I get around 80g of protein per day. I rarely "eat back" what I work off. Walk average of 2 miles a day, high intensity cardio 3xweek, lift and tone with free weights, etc. Just not sure why I'm not seeing any body changes. I keep all my other sugars, fats, sodium, etc. in line.

If you lost 10 pounds your BMI should have gone down at least one point.
BMI at 157 pounds = 26.9
BMI at 147 pounds = 25.20 -
thx...I thought so too. Can't figure it out.0

What are you using to measure your BF?0
-
BF is measured by trainer at the gym with one of the hand held devices...not calipers.0

Hand held electrical impedence devices are woefully inaccurate and inconsistent.0 -

Whoops--there goes 50 years of research and validation studies down the drain.0
