Well guess I need a new breakfast plan. CRAP!!!0 -
hmmm...wonder why pretzels and granola are on there. I get the sodium for the pretzels...we all know that...but I still don't think they are that bad! And, granola bars....hmm...thought they had some benefit. Geez....just when ya think you know stuff. LOL0

That's why they call it 'JUNKfood'...cause it's JUNK :laugh:0

The deal with pretzels is the carbs and the sodium. Sometimes even sugar is added. But it's mostly the carbs (not the good kind) and the sodium.
I do NOT have a detox book but I have a Cook This, Not That obsession and I have read in several spots that pretzels are not as good as people think they are. When I started subbing my pretzel snacks for plain nuts, I could eat more and I was full longer (and I also started losing more weight)0 -
Granola bars? pretzels? fat free cookies? Obviously I've been fooling myself. I need an "Idiot's Guide to Rationalizing Foods That Are Bad For You!" ...... Let me know where I can pick that up......0

I had this bookmarked for an article I was writing awhile back: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/22027686/ns/health-diet_and_nutrition/ It's an awesome, eye opening read.0

DANG!!!! I eat a granola bar everyday. Guess I better look for something else in the AM to grab and go. DANG!!!!!!!!!!!!!0

pretzels is because of the refined flour and sodium, granola bars have high frutose corn syrup. it seems they put that stuff in so many things, it is just another word for sugar.0
