Okay, so I'm always trying to find ways that make me feel even more encouraged about my weight loss, and the impending biggest loser challenge in my office got me thinking about my % of body weight lost.
So since I restarted MFP on 1/3/11:
...i've lost 5% of my total body weight! (calculate by taking = amount lost so far / start weight)
and i've lost ~ 15% of my goal weight loss!!! (calculate by taking = amount lost so far / total weight you need to lose)
What are your %'s???? I bet it will excite you to see!

Wow - that's crazy!!! That's in less than 1 month!!
I've been on here a long, long time, but this round of weight loss started for me in July (sometime between May and June was my highest, but I started pushing it in July)....
Since starting in July 2010: My % of body weight lost is 18% and my % to goal is 44.5%.
In 2011, I've lost 2.3% of body weight and my % to goal is 7.8%.
P.S. I'm a business analyst - so I love this kind of stuff....0 -

Is this even correct?
I have lost 3lbs/ 169lbs started equals .0177% and the other is 3/30 equals .1%
Yes thats POINT 0177% and POINT 1%e)0 -
5%! woop woop I didn't realize it was that much, how great!
started at 167.4
now at 158.8
so 8.6/167.5 = .05137 = 5%!0 -

3 / 169 = 0.0177 yes, but to convert a decimal into a fraction you must multiply by 100 soooo your % lost is not .1%
it's 1.7% :drinker: Keep at it!0 -
I've lost 21.4% of my body...and am 86% to my goal (which is a little more discouraging than 6 pounds to go, sadly.)0
