Personal Trainers Please read!!

I need some ideas. I am trying to get a flat stomach. I workout 5 days a week. I run on the treadmill with incline and do intervals. I do jillian michaels and the firm workout vidoes. I am a 27in waist trying to get to 25in. Is it good idea to measure every 3 weeks or every 6 weeks. I eat really healthy. I weight 113 how fast will a person this small see results. At first I was losing 1 to 2 in a week after having my baby. Then I hit 113 and I have changed it up. I also took a few weeks off. The past few weeks I have been keeping a journal of how many cal. i burn with my HRM. Is it to early for me to see results this is my 3rd week. Any ideas I eat between 1200 to 1400 cals a day. Please look at my food diary as well. Thanks.

    I am not a PT or nutritionist but with that being said, since you have very little weight to lose you should set your goal at 0.5lbs/week. This should give you more than 1200 cals/day, on top of the amount MFP gives you, you should also eat your exercise calories. So if you new goal is 1450 and you burn 250 in the gym your should be eating 1700 to lose 0.5lbs/week. Anymore than 0.5/week at your weight may not be healthy and you will likely lose muscle along with the fat.

    Yes I was thinking about upping my calories. I workout at night so sometimes I don't eat after my workout. No I have never had a flat stomach I have never worked for it. This is the smallest I have ever been. I am getting there around my pooch area I am 30.5 in I keep loosing half in. It takes forever to loose it. I do see a diff. I want this more than anything. I am bound and determined to get there. ha.

    You don't have to eat after the workout, although I would suggest having at least some protein. If you know you are going to workout you can enter it in MFP and get an estimate of what you will burn then eat the calories throughout the day.

    Personally I have never been a big girl and even then I have never had a flat stomach. Even at my losest weight of 114 I still had a pouch. Keep me updated on your progress bc I want one too!! lol
