A form of electronic music, typically instrumental, characterized by a sparse, syncopated rhythm and a strong baseline. I would type one of the songs listed in the thread into youtube to see an example. It's a great genre for exercise, since the bpm is typically 138–142 beat per minute. You can optimize workouts by utilizing music tracks with a high tempo, which some exercise science studies reinforce.
