Best workout songs?

Hi,

Just wondering what everyone's favourite workout music is?
I'm looking to rebuild my workout playlist, it's getting a bit old now

Thanks in advance,

Lisa :)

Honestly (now don't make fun of me)....
I like the techno-y Brittney Spears. Idk she's always so sexual in her songs and her videos and it makes me want to try and have a body like that! Hahaha.

Otherwise, I go with some good 'ol metalcore xD

Hahaha no judgement here at all, I like ALL sorts of music :)
I found myself liking metal / rock when I first started but I think I prefer more boppy, keeps me in a good mood as well to be honest

Loads of deadly suggestions, thanks everyone :D

I'm such a nerd. I listen to podcasts while I workout. Anything from science to comedy to ..... talk radio. When running, I usually listen to Stuff You Should Know and/or RadioLab....maybe the Moth.

I heard Kanye West - 'BLKKK SKKKN HEAD (Explicit)' when I was running the other day and the beat was awesome. I also like 90's jock jams and Daft Punk on my workout playlists.

    TKO--Justin Timberlake
    Motivation--Kelly Rowland
    My Moment--DJ Drama
    Representin--Ludacris
    The Show Goes On--Lupe Fiasco

As you can see, my playlist trends heavily hip hop. But I also like to mix it up with some hair bands from the 80s/90s--Kiss and Skid Row being favorites.

Honestly I get tired of the same stuff so I switch it up between my iTunes and Pandora. I have the Latin Workout channel, 90's Hip hop, today's hits, Pitbull channel, etc. I tend to go for faster paced- music with lots of beats to keep me moving.

On Pandora I listen to Sexy and I Know it Radio
  • I like to jog. So I love to jam to stuff with high beats per minute. Mostly EDM stuff like...

    Dubstep
    Trap
    Drum -n- Bass
    Hard Style

Anything with a hard hitting, dirty, grimy sound, relentless driving beat, and earth shaking bass. Some of those artist would be...

    Datsik
    Excision
    Bassnectar
    Getter
    Bauer

It just pumps me up and drives me when I hit a tired streak.
  • Oh and the ladies in this thread would loves them some Krewella. Super sexy lyrics. Great workout stuff that'll get ya sweatn.

I'm more of a soundtrack person and there are a lot of albums I like to listen to while working out. My most common are, Bastion by Daren Korb and Tron Legacy by Daft Punk.

I really like the Old School Hip Hop Station on Fitradio that they use during my class.
  • Listening to the beats of Major Lazer and Diplo gets me moving fast. When I'm talking a long, relaxing walk, I put on some STRFKR albums.
