Does anyone have any good snack ideas that help fill you up and are low in calories and low in carbs? that's where I always seem to go over in my day but I need a good pre-workout snack! Thanks! :)

    yogurt

    wheat pretzels

    string cheese

    quaker rice snacks (cheddar)

    raw almonds

    I also always keep a few cans of soup at work for those times when I forget my lunch or dont have time to leave.
  • Hiya, Nothing beats a good ole banana for pre-workout fuel. If you can control your snacking then jaffa cakes are great. Low in fat and calories with a taste of chocolate. Who can resist!!! Try the mini ones.

    Egg Whites
    Pork Rinds
    Hummus & rice cakes
    Any fruit
    Laughing Cow Cheese

    I usually will eat like a 100 calorie bag of popcorn for a snack but definitely could use some more ideas... I have to keep very low sugars so alot of times I cant just grab fruit. Any suggestions for low sugar low calorie snacks
  • All kinds of nuts are always a good choice. And of course veggies. I loved snacking on steamed veggies.
