You have to want it more than anyone else. You have to be your own champion, be your own superstar, blaze your own path, say yes to opportunity, follow your instincts, be eager, and passionate, keep learning, nurture your real, lasting relationships, don't be a jerk, and free your imagination so you can become all that you want to be." -Sutton Foster

A MFP friend told me this one, and I use it every time I don't feel like working out.

    Yes!

The one that keeps me going is: Stay on the Path.

It is not a straight and level path, one can't always see the goal clearly ahead, although can glimpse it. The path is in turns boring, tedious, bumpy, frightening, exhilarating, and challenging, but leads to where we intend to go. We only have to stay on the path, keep moving forward, and never give up. In this way time becomes our tool.

For people close to their goal and thinking of giving up: On the plains of hesitation lie the blackened bones of countless millions who at the dawn of victory lay down to rest, and in resting died. - Adlai E. Stevenson

To people who whine about other people doing stupid things in the gym: Shut up and lift.

Why do you work out so much? Strong people are harder to kill than weak people, and more useful in general. --Mark Rippetoe
