I messed up

I woke up this morning and cancelled my training session for this afternoon. This is the first time I have cancelled for no reason. I also worked half day today and I came home, fell off the wagon and thought to myself "I have ZERO motivation" I don't know where this is coming from. The last couple weeks at work have been unbearable, working long hours to clean up horrendous mess from a coworker that left on the spot, and feeling overwhelmed with work. I just don't know if I have it in me. I cut my sugar in my coffee last week and still doing it which was a goal of mine last week, but the food and exercise is lacking big time. What happened to me?!?!?!?!?

Reaching out to new friends, love my old ones, and trying to keep pressing forward. Just feel like I have let myself down yet again!

You haven't let yourself down! Sometimes we all need a bit of a break - particularly when you've been through a stressful period at work. Have a relaxing time today and just think that it's a new day tomorrow and you can start afresh. One bad day isn't going to undo the hard work you've put in so far.

Feel free to add me as a friend if you want a chat :)

Go for a walk...just because you cancelled training doesn't mean you have to find a reason not to work out....have a healthy dinner and go outside and get some air ...your co-worker isn't an excuse to give up nor do they care if u succeed or fail.. their life goes on...Stick with it...personally I don't think a day off will benefit you at this point...u can do it!

Hang in there! You are just stressed out - life happens, don't forget. We have to figure out how we are going to react to "life happening". I'm the same way sometimes. But then the next day I pick myself up and try to get back on track. Maybe if you just tried to get through each day it won't seem so overwhelming. That's what I try to do.

    Good luck to you!:flowerforyou:

Your life is testing you....don't beat yourself up. Why not just keep logging, go for a walk. Don't try to go all out. Obviously you need the break.

It will be fine, just don't let the actions of your coworker derail you completely. No one should have that kind of effect on you.

    Glad you are here!

In the long run you need to be friends with and look after you. Nobody else is in that unique position. Toy are just sounding a bit overwhelemd , tired and stressed.

    1. Understand the reasons why and form a plan of how you are going to deal with work.
    2. You need to make sure you are still getting good nutrution.
    3. Try and counteract the stress by talking it through with friends, having a bath getting good sleep and chilling out. Fynnily enough exercise is also a good stressbuster.
    4. Try not to go off the rails with the food imo, but its not the end of the world if you put things on hold for a week or two until you get work under control.
    5. DONT beat up on yourself, one gym session is just one session out of hundreds you might go to. In the big scheme of things its nothing, so stop worrying.
    6. A break to regather your thoughts will get you back on schedule sooner rather than later. Think long term.

I actually *wouldn't* recommend a cheat day right now.
    Just get some rest.

    This.

That's life. And it happens. And it will happen again. Pick yourself up. Tomorrow is a new day. Heck, tonight might not have happened yet (depending on your time zone!) so there might be time to give yourself something about today to be proud of

No reason to be negative towards yourself here. Weight loss is not easy and everyone is bound to take a step back every once in awhile. Especially when things get stressful/overwhelming.

See the thing about that wagon is when you fall off it stops, so you can get back on. :) Need a hand getting on again? Feel free to add me!

I had horrible work anxiety in August.

Seriously, I cried in my managers office that I hate my job and my clients.

That seriously happened, and my anxiety attack took a solid 10 days to fade away.

Yes, the diet was the last thing on my mind, and my clothes got tighter for it.

Unless you happen to be a super career driven woman, (which I'm not, but they do exist, but I think the majority of women work because they have too, no because they woke up one day yearing to climb the corporate ladder, I work beause I have no choice but welfare or work) working is hard!

It's unnatural and very emotional imbalancing and upsetting.

Kudos to you for hanging in there!

    Keep on keepin' on!

Maybe someday we'll win the lotto. :-)

Pick yourself up, dust off, log what you ate, and take a nap. Tomorrow's a new day.

You had a bad day. Leave it at that.

Forgive yourself and set yourself up for success tomorrow.

A bad day doesn't mean it's all over and you've failed. Acknowledge that you needed a day off emotionally and physically, and allow yourself to rest and indulge a little. Get back to it in the morning.
